Why

Why we do what we do


Wistor was born from a mix of frustration and ambition. Frustration with how hard it often is to actually work with data. Ambition to make it easier, using open standards and smart, flexible technology.
We are linked data specialists. We know how complex things can get, but also what becomes possible when you design it right. That is why we built Wistor: a platform that connects semantic models with easy-to-use low-code apps.

But Wistor is more than technology. It is about people. Our team of around 25–30 colleagues brings together expertise in software development, consultancy, and information management. We come from different backgrounds, but we share the same drive: curiosity, openness and the ambition to build something meaningful.

Our culture is informal, collaborative and hands-on. We believe in freedom and responsibility. That means everyone has space to shape their own work, explore new ideas and contribute to the bigger picture. At the same time, we celebrate successes together, support one another and make room for fun.
